This Mod Adds Transcendant Ascendance to the Stellaris Game.

Increases the Ascension Perk Limit and adds new Ascension Perks.

Requires version 1.51 and Utopia Expansion

What This Mod Does
– Adds 10 Ascension Perk Slots, increasing the maximum to 18
– Adds a repeatable (and expensive) tech in the Physics tree that adds 10 more Ascension Perk picks
– Adds a number of new Ascension Perks (with probably more to follow)

What This Mod Does Not Do
– Modify any existing Ascension Perks. This means if you want to use a mod that lets you make Mind-Reading, Gene-Splicing Robots, you can because there are other mods that do that and they’ll be compatible with this one. It also means that if you don’t want to do that I’m not forcing you to. You’re welcome.

New Perks Added

Faster Than FTL (separate versions for each FTL type)
– Warp Drives: +25% FTL Speed
– Hyperdrives: -25% FTL Wind Up Time
– Wormhole Stations: -25% Wormhole Creation Time
– Requires two other Ascension Perks to be selected first

Trip The Void Fantastic
– Jump Drive Wind Up Time: -50% (not cumulative with Faster Than FTL: Hyperdrives)
– Jump Drive Wind Down Time: -25%
– Requires Faster Than FTL Ascension Perk
– Requires four other Ascension Perks to be selected first

City On A Hill
– Adds Two Civic Points
– Requires three other Ascension Perks to be selected first

Precursor’s Promise
– Enables Construction of advanced planetary buildings. Can only build one of these per planet.
— Arcturus Zero Point Reactor: +10 Energy
— Subspace Particle Assembler: +12 Minerals
— Temporal Cultivation Dome: +12 Food
— Omega Three Network: +7 To Every Research
— Recall Omniplex: +12 Unity
– Requires five other Ascension Perks to be selected first

Supremacy Over Nature
– Immediately clears all tile blockers on currently owned and newly colonized/conquered planets.
– Requires Mastery Of Nature Ascension Perk

The Gift Of Ascension
– Allows the Grant Ascension policy and the Forced Ascension edict
— Grant Asscension lets Synthetic Empires peacefully convert other species POPs in their empire into Synths
— Forced Ascension lets Sythetic Empires forcefully convert other species POPs in their empire into Synths via purging
– Requires Synthetic Evolution Ascension perk
– Requires five otther Ascension Perks to be selected first

Many Minds, One Voice
– Unlocks Psionic Song and Psionic Whispers
— Psionic Song increases planet-wide Food production, Government Ethics Attraction, and POP happiness based on how many POPs with the Psionic trait live on the planet.
— Psionic Whispers allows you to telepathically influence defending armies on an enemy planet once its fortifications have been reduced to zero. Your influence increases with the size of the bombarding fleet.
– Requires Transcendance Ascension perk
– Requires five otther Ascension Perks to be selected first

— Options in the Psionic Whispers event are restricted by ethics.
— Psionic Whispers will not fire unless:
—- The bombarding fleet uses at least 50 Naval Capacity (the equivalent of 50 Corvettes)
—- It will not use the combined Naval Capacity of multiple fleets bombarding the same planet. This is a scripting limitation that I couldn’t find a clean way to get around.
—- The defending planet isn’t controlled by a Hive Mind
—- The defending planet has at least one army that isn’t:
—— A special army type – Xenomorphs, Psionic Armies, Robot/Android Armies, Gene Warrior Armies, or event armies like Titanic Beasts
—— Created from a species that is either fully Mechanical or fully Psionic

Compatability Issues
– The only possible conflicts this mod will have will be with other mods that (a) change the Traditions Panel or (b) alter the maximum number of Ascension Perks.
— If your traditions panel looks wierd or, at worst, Stellaris crashes when loading a save or starting a new game, then (a) is the culprit. Use the Perk-Only version linked above.
— If you don’t see the new Ascension Perk slots, then (b) is the possible culprit. If not, its because you aren’t using version 1.51.

Thanks and Salutations:
– Lord_Assaultーさま for the Russian localisation & helping me fix an annoying conflict
– Robobird3000 for German localisation

– Q: Why Ten Perks? Why Not 50? Or a bazillion?
– A: It’s difficult to squeeze in more than 10 without screwing with the UI even more, thus creating more potential conflicts with other mods.

– Q: I don’t see the new perk slots why isn’t this mod working?
– A: You’re still using game version 1.5 or have a mod conflict. See above.

– Q: Can you do a version of this mod with just the increased Ascension Perk limit?
– A: I’ll think about it.

– Q: Can you do a version of this mod with just the added Ascension Perks?
– A: I’ll think about it. DONE!

– Q: Can you change for ?
– A: I’ll think about it.

– Q: Can I incorporate some/all of this mod into my own work?
– A: Be polite and ask first. If you want to do a non-English localisation, however, be my guest.

– Q: Do you know what “bilateral kelilactiral” is?
