This Mod Adds ~Glavius’s Ultimate AI – Abandoned to the Stellaris Game.
Thank you very much for backing me on Patreon I greatly appreciate the financial incentive this has created for me to continue modding Stellaris. In that time, I feel the mod has grown quite a bit and helped to create a more challenging game to play for everyone. Further, thanks to your backing I was able to use my backer numbers, mod subscribers, and your comments on the Stellaris forums it has brought attention to the mod that allowed me to work with Paradox and get some of these weight changes into the Stellaris base game. I want to thank you all for believing in me and supporting me directly in creating this mod.
At this time, I have decided to stop working on the mod. Over the month of June, I have found that I needed to take a break from Stellaris and do other things. Stellaris has always provided a fun and exciting challenge to me. Trying to get the AI to run an economy with so many variables to account for has always been a giant puzzle that I’m sure just one more change will make everything work perfectly. However, lately I’ve felt I’m delivering less useful content in the mod and that I’m putting off working on the mod to play other games, social events, and what really set off the alarm bells, my day job.
Going forwards, this will be the first time since the release of Utopia that I won’t be working on a version of my mod. I do not however intend to shut down and walk away from Stellaris. Instead, I want to focus on a non-public mod. With 2.3 several AI weight changes were taken from the 2.2.4 version of the GAI mod. My hope is to continue working with the Paradox development team to instead add AI changes directly into the base game. This will free me from having to maintain a daily update schedule to the mod while at the same time still being able to provide a large impact on Stellaris.
My mod is open source and anyone who wishes may create a fork of the mod without needing to contact me for permission. I hope I’ve done some good and created a more interesting game for those of you who are playing Stellaris. Thank you all for supporting me on the forums, on Steam, on Patreon, and everywhere else. I’ve greatly enjoyed my time with Stellaris and the Stellaris community.
Thank you and goodbye for now,
